Introduction
Producing less waste has become a priority for many people. In order to minimize waste being produced individuals have adopted the philosophy of the (3) R's.
This hierarchy assumes that once a person has made every effort to reduce the amount of solid waste produced, that they should then seek to reuse as much of the waste that is produced as is possible. The remaining waste should then either be composted, set out in the prescribed manner for recycling, or set-out for final disposal.
Make the commitment today to change your home and office into toxic–free zones. Please also ensure that you properly dispose of any toxic substances. A toxic substance is one that is capable of harming a person if ingested, inhaled or absorbed through any body surface.
The key to minimizing negative impacts on human health and the environment is to reduce the toxicity of products utilized.
