Kids World Expo 2006

Kids listening during the story telling session As part of the education and outreach component of the Integrated Solid Waste Management Programme, the Solid Waste Project Unit (SWPU) participated in the annual Kids World Expo which was held at Sherbourne Conference Centre from 27th-28th May 2006. The event was well attended on both days with the young patrons taking part in the various activities offered by the SWPU’s booth. These included a colouring competition, story telling, and distribution of the recently published kid’s book, entitled Timmy Turtle and the Litter Bugs.
